To save myself some sanity I made myself a spreadsheet with standard kinds of ants on it I can do commissions for:

After noticing pololu had dropped their price I have followed suit and dropped mine to match. All silicone wheel are now £1 less!

I have also removed the neoprene wheels as there isn't really an advantage to them over the higher quality moulded wheels. They'll still be available to those who have already purchased them though.

Hay Alex should the 30:1 gearbox micro-motor be fine with the 22mm x 8mm wheels? I just did a test drive with them, and they seemed a bit slow.

They'll be fine but obviously ~2/3rd the speed of the 30mm wheels. Most robots run 32mm + 30:1 gearmotors on 8.4v (2S LiPo)

Oh I see that solves the mystery of how Bunny-Ears was slower then others (low battery voltage), so is there a gear ratio I could use to compensate for the 1/3 speed lose?

Hi shakey,
You replied to me on another tread, when I was inquiring about the nano two from rapidrory, and I have just seen that you sell ant weight parts to. Do you also sell nano two's ? Rapidrory hasn't got back to my email I sent a few days ago, must of gone straight to junk mail or he's busy, which is fine. I'm just super keen to get started!

Thanks

This forum may be a little bit quiet atm, because they've just been filming the latest series of Robot Wars in Glasgow!

I'm sure you'll get a reply soon!

Rory makes the Nanotwos they're not an outside sourced part so I don't sell them.
