Shakeys Nanoweights

Post by Shakey »

I thought I'd start a build diary for my nanos!

First up the past nanoweights:
Sharkbait
My first nano, quite a fun little flipper that served well fighting in many a lemming match.

Fite me m8 (right) - U W0T M9 (left)
Helping to usher in a new exploration in gearmotor drive for nanos with custom 5 stage gearboxes. It did alright but the grabber was fairly ineffective. U W0T M9 was Fite me M8's sucessor with a much more effective drive and enough armour to deal with the nano spinners of he time.

I'LL CLOCK U IN THE JABBER
The new nano on the block with a 5g 20k RPM spinning disc it may destroy something else before it removes its own wheels! It weighs right on the limit even after weight saving such as combined chargeport and removable link. It's pretty fun though and has already written off Fite Me M8 for good and broken an old ant chassis. It does however bounce like no tomorrow.

It's a DYS-BE1104 motor from hobbyking.

Cheers, that's the one I thought it might be but it says 2S-4S does it run on 1 cell or are you using 2 cells.

I'm just running 1S 90mah and it seems to have more than enough torque, it'll spin up with the nano resting on the blade.
