The bristol area is fairly easy for most people to get to. I held an AWS down near Yeovil last year and plenty of people came even though it's miles from anywhere..

An event up north like Liverpool would be nice but there's not really any Antweight roboteers from there to my knowledge

I'd second that an event in the south west would be welcome here, but obviously the primary concern is ease of access for most people. I'll try to make the next event anyway to hopefully learn a little, time allowing.

New builder here (well, I haven't started building anything yet, but I'm hoping to) Would love to get down to AWS 51, but I live t'up north in Preston. I can drive, so if it's somewhere like Reading or Coventry again that's doable, but if it's further south than those then it may be too difficult for me... unless anyone has a spare couch going? :P

If it's not anywhere I can make, no biggie, I'll just wait for the next one. Suppose that'll give me more build/practice time any way :)

Basingstoke is one of the places available but the venue is still being discussed.

As I understand it this is event is going ahead at least as the Antweight Open and as no definite alternative has appeared more than likely as the AWS.
