24/02/15 UPDATE

RDR is finally done. I've sorted out the controller, battery and it's finally done. It'll take part in the Iron Games on 28/02/15. It's speed is 1.6mph and weighs in at 92g with everything in. Time to move onto the next project! Find photos over on Facebook: www.facebook.com/officialteamcrash

You should really try and get it as close to 150g as possible. More weight gives more traction and makes you harder to flip/throw!

Yeah, stick a weight in it over the wheels. Looks like you have plenty of room.

I'm going to try and put some aluminum on it so it gets heavier. :D

I've got the same weight lack too as alu isn't as heavy as you think.I got my whole chassis into your spare weight and that was 100% alu so metal may not weigh it up as much as you think...

Yeah, get some pennies or screws or something steel in there towards the back; will give you loads more pushing power.

What about seeing if you could shed the (I think)17g you would need to shed to make it a flea or would it not fit in the 3" cube

I checked that when I had it to fit the electronics; doesn't fit in a 3" cube.
