Just so it's known, Mark Smith had to drop out due to having an animations class he had forgotten about. He had 2 ants entered (one of which was going to be replaced with St Jimmy anyway), so I'm going to lend St Jimmy to Ceri for the AWS.

Well done Scott and void for winning your first AWS, and on your birthday . Well done to Andrew w with spyro 2 coming 2nd and Jonathan with delirious coming 3rd so the top 3 were all people that haven't won an AWS before.
Well done to joey for winning the fleas, full results and pictures will get to the Internet this evening/tomorrow sometime...
The spinner annihilator(10 ants including 6 spinners)at the end was certainly destructive... If not complete carnage
Thanks to Ian watts for booking the hall :)and Thanks to everyone else for coming. I think this must be the first event in a while which everyone we were expecting to turn up actually did (and everyone was there on time if not early)there were 69 robots that entered the AWS and about 12 fleas so a pretty good turnout.
AWS 39 will be hosted by Scott in Coventry late October/early november. Possibly the first time the winner has hosted the next event?

Thanks to everyone for a great day.
164 videos (4.5GB) are on their way to Youtube I think they'll appear here as they upload, if you'd like to add the names of the robots as comments I'd be most grateful.
