Add a small amount of pitch and it will certainly take off! (Is this Mr Waller's way of getting back to R/C aircraft?)

Funny you should mention that I have been toying with the idea of adding negative pitch to hold it on the deck.

LOL. I have been thinking of the same thing too.Adding pitch to the middle area of the blades, keeping the ends flat.
Could cause alot of instability if both sides dont match though???

Made a little progress having shaped the blade and added the front spikes.

I have also shortend and tidied up the wiring.

Also moved the tiewraps in board to enable the new deeper wheels when they come to fit.

All up weight is now just under 110gms so it might be possible to enter it as a cluster with Alsoran if I can lose the extra weight of the bigger wheels and tyres.

As usual couldn't wait for the real wheels so I stuck some rubber on the ones I had for a test.
The smooth side of the hardboard didn't provide very good grip as can be seen by the torque induced rotation at the start but it seem to handle quite well.
I think the comparison with a ferrari was a bit optomistic as it isn't that fast but with my driving that is probably for the best.

No joke, I am more worried about being drawn against that than anything I've seen to date. The spin up is so efficient and it looks so stable, the chances of anyone either getting to it before it spins up or unbalancing it are getting worryingly slim :) .

It looks massive! Amazing what you can get in a four inch cube. I'd love to fight it, looks nasty. A fight to get the adrenaline going :D
