Thanks. He is actually only little! To get him in weight,he is smaller than the limit.
He is 85mm wide,100mm long,and 40mm tall.
He was an empty chassis until yesterday afternoon,so I have basically double sided sticky-taped a PW controller,a 370mah 2s lipo, and a 10a esc into the "payload area" in the back, and taped a piece of scrap Ti on top of the battery.
Its not very pretty under there!(Also,he tips the scales at 151g exactly at the mo! )
You are more than welcome to take a look "under the bonnet" tomorrow. :)

WOW!
That was a blast!
All my robots did very well.
Someone at some point will have to tell me how to decypher the ant log results properly.
But I think all three came in the top 16?? And I think Raoul finished 5th over all???
Also,in theory,all 3 came home with`a certificate.
Creepy crawly won a certificate for best design :D
Raoul got a certificate for winning the tag team.(Although Dave did ALL the work!! :D )
And Hell Boy won a certificate for the robot roulette.(actually James won it,but I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing it. :D )
Thanks all! :D

I didn't do all the work! You took my tyre off, remember? Haha.

As James said at the event, double elimination makes it REALLY difficult to decipher anyone's placings after "joint 5th". Lol. Two robots come joint fifth, then the next clear bracket down is "top 16" really. You can't really place every one of the top 16 into some kind of order.

I tried adding a method of allocating points to each robot depending on which round it went out in, but no-one seemed to be able to agree on a fair way of allocating the points so it got quietly dropped...

Happy to resurrect it if people are happy to accept a logical, but arbitrary, scoring system; just to allow people to figure out how far they got through the competition.

quick update.
As a reward for Raoul, for trying very hard at the last AWS.I have made a new chassis for him.
0.5 mm titanium,as before, but the motor mounts have been extended to incorporate a battery holder, and the rear is closed off now,and has mounting points for level2 armour! ( :o )
Oh yeah,it has alot of holes too. ...

And I have broken another drivetrain on Rim,after making a new low profile chassis. :(
Not sure how yet!

Raoul's new chassis is in place,he has new 540rpm motors,new wheels and tyres,new 6a esc,and a new 2s 130mah lipo pack.
I havn't run Raoul at full tilt for ages, but today I noticed that all the vibrations dissapear at over 90% throttle. :)
It drives very smoothly at max rpm,but at half speed,it jitters like crazy...

Raoul is much happier now I have spent some quality time with him. :)
