Robonova-1

Post by olivers »

here is my new toy:

http://www.antweight.co.uk/robonova/index.htm

I have done a full writeup of the build and conclusions. Haven't had a lot of time to play with it yet as I've been working pretty hard recently.

I guess this will delay me building an autonomous ant for a while while I program it to do a few moves. It comes with a default number of moves which is pretty good but I need to put some killer moves into it, I was thinking a suplex.

I can make it to Reading Robots now on 6th May now so will bring it then and kick shiny metal ass (Bender quote).

Will do a bit of a demonstration and play. Was trying to get it to do a ground punch yesterday but kept falling forwards.

A strong flipping antweight could easily topple it by getting under the feet.
