Fleaweight rules

Post by Remote-Controlled Dave »

Can someone post up a version of the official rules for fleaweights?
I've heard a couple of different variations.
Thanks.
Dave.

A couple of variations in weight limit, cube size, ect.
Also someone sed you could use metal armour, someone sed you still couldnt.

You're allowed flame weapons on a fleaweight but not an antweight???

Explain please.

I wouldn't have thought flame weapons would be allowed, due to other people not wanting to be melting.

There was a thread ages ago about the size limit, it is supposed to be 3'' cube. The weight is 75g. Other than that the rules are the same as ants.

Weight: 75g
Size limits: 2.5inch, 3inch, 3.5inch all have been thrown around at some stage, me personally i dont seen the need for one other than like a 12inch cube basically to rule out anything too massive.

I cannot remenber what the "Official Ruleing" that was come up with.

That rule thread clearly said flames were allowed, as long as they can be turned off remotely.

size-wise i think 2.5 is fair tbo, its not impossible and its the most in keeping with the idea that fleaweights are half the size of ants.

as for flames, i think they should be allowed because at this size a flame weapon is gonna be quite large and so the robot would be slower, have less armour etc. thats the price paid for having a flame weapon.

Previously we worked to a 3 inch cube if we go down to 2.5 inch then Fleabite is out. Remember a 3 inch cube is less than half the volume of a 4 inch cube. 64cu ins down to 27 cu ins.
