Just adding a new thread to discuss this.

We will be there, with ants and the new featherweight.

I would be up for bringing my ants if they run them. Many of the old hands will remember Alan and David as well as their parents from their days in antweights. They may have moved on from ants but they do appreciate what is required in antweight competition.

We need to sort a few things out this end before we can 100% say ants will be running at Leicester. If they didnt run at Leicester, they will be running at Burgess Hill.

Its a love show with heavy weights and feathers but they are thining about getting ants in it as well. Should be good fun if all goes well. Get to fight our ant fights but also watch some heavy fights.
Hey could be time to get thunderpants out ;)

Right Guys, We have managed to get our hands on an LCD projector for this show (we still have to sort out a screen, and where to put the thing). But its a good start!

Sign ups are open for this event at http://www.robotslive.co.uk/herm_08.htm iv also added an Ant weight option.

Looks like theres a 99% chance ants will be running!

Simon is the only ant to have signed up, we will need more and an arena if the ants are to run (we may build a mini robots live arena in the future if the ants take off).

I cant make a commitment just yet, but the odds are I will be there. But I will not sign up until I am sure.
Best regards,
