Surprised it hasn’t been advertised here.
Excellent beetle weight competition web series. Really well produced and well worth a watch...it makes me long for a return of Robot Wars. Hopefully these guys are the start of its recovery...

Re: Bugglebots
I am really enjoying Bugglebots. I think that Beetleweight is a really good class now (watching Bugglebots).
It seems that there is a good variety of designs and a range of different builders, I imagine that they're not too expensive to build or transport (e.g. don't need to hire a van etc). As I understand it, the RW heavyweights really turned into a "who can get the most commercial sponsorship / tech assistance" competition.
I'd like to see a walker in the competition, but otherwise, it's great so far. I particularly enjoyed the Meltybrain spinner and overhead saw robots.

Robots: Betsie - RaspberryPi controlled flipper bot with gyro stablisation - too clever for her own good?

Yeah it's been great. Kudos to anyone involved that might post here, competitors or production. Hope it's just the first season of many!

Re: Bugglebots
I can recommend listening to the hard core podcast, which has been following the series; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNvsDogU0GM.
It's interesting to hear some opinions from American beetle builders, plus they chat with some of the.. er.. contestants?

Hi! Thanks for the kind comments guys. (Director/Editor here )
Putting on a show helped encourage more unique/varied builds and like you say beetleweight is a great class to build at.
We'd like to do another series sometime hope that interests you!
