Well many of the fights will last less than 1 minute, the trick is to optimise the time between fights, not the fights themselves. Changing the maximum time makes little difference because hardly any bouts last that long anyway.

The trick is, based on my limited experience, to give competitors a well-publicised list of who's fighting next, at least 3-4 fights ahead. ideally on big screens, so nobody gets hoarse from constantly shouting out robot names (At AWS55 that nearly worked, at least some of the time).

This also means that refs and judges need to be rotated (they will need a break at some point) so that the fights can continue.

I can't make it this time, but hopefully the next one, or at least in summer.

+1 on lots of notice for upcoming fights... 2 of my bots may be sharing a receiver as the ones i ordered 2 weeks ago still have not arrived... uk seller apparently... also the esc's i ordered are still m.i.a...

although the calibration weights i ordered arrived so my bots should weigh 150g or less...

my scales claim 146g or there abouts with 150g weights on them but this changes from time to time... cheap ebay scales... so i have taken to weighing the weights then my bots... my only issue is that 1 bot fits snugly into my 4x4x4 cube... its unlikely to have fit in the antfreeze cube and my cube is definitely 4x4x4... im hoping the aws cube is more accurate... otherwise, im all good for tomorrow

Thanks for a great event, seemed to run pretty well.

We decided to leave early for the 3 hour drive home, so didn't see who won.

So who did?!
