Antweight World Series 54 - Bath City FC

Following the proposal post in this forum, can confirm a venue has been found for Antweight World Series 54! Details follow below:

Date: March 17th 2018
Times: 09:00 - 17:00
Venue: Charlie’s, Bath City Football Club, Twerton Park, Twerton, Bath, BA2 1DB
Organiser: Harry T
Sign-ups close: 15th March 2018 at 10pm.

Directions:
When on the High Street turn into Dominion Road, the Bath City FC building will be on your left. Enter the double doors in front underneath the Charlie's sign to access the venue.

PLEASE NOTE: The bar will NOT be open during the event. Advising those coming to bring own food a drink, there is however a Cooperative a short walk from the venue.

Sadly can't make this, would be a hotel job and it's my bro's birthday the week before and we're away for a bit to old Amsterdam. Sucks because Ant freeze was loads of fun, but I'll keep an eye out for the next.

Should hopefully have another build project done by whenever that is too.

I'll look forward to the video of this one.

Would I be allowed to come just to spectate and learn about the robots? I am trying to make one myself but have very little knowledge.

Absolutely, getting people into the sport is as important as doing it yourself as far as I'm concerned!

I'll be there, second ever event for me! Hopefully I'll be bringing some PLA on wheels for you all to smash up. :D

Is there an entry fee for spectating, also I'm hoping to be able to learn about the robots there so if you see an early teen walking around, asking basic questions like: how do you attach a weapon to the motor, that would be me.
