I'm coming. Generally there's a big surge in sign ups towards the end. I think most people are either trying to finish bots before they enter them. Don't worry, yes, the Grantham event is on at the same time, but I reckon you've just got to be patient. This event looks to be a lot of fun.

It is better if people sign up and then cancel bot entries on the day than not sign up until the day (if allowed).

Besides, if Peter's coming, he'll have enough bots for everyone!

I'm all signed up now. I'm really looking forward to getting back into competing after a long break.

25 bots signed up it's a ok amount I guess. People really like to leave things to the last minute or should I say week :P

So whats the over and under of people who are just going to show up without signing up on Antlog first?

Hey Guys, just done a test for the livestream and found an issue.

The cameras i have do not have a wide enough lense to properly capture the arena. Thus would anyone be able to help me out? - i have a laptop which will be constantly attended to attach it to, and if anyone has experience with these things itd be greatly appreciated.

Similarly i dont know how to put a 2nd camera for potential commentary on. If someone knows how to do that and wants to help out itd be greatly appreciated :)

First AWS I'm gonna miss sadly; It's 8 hours there and back, and for a one day event where I haven't got any new bots to test out it's just a bit far.

Not sure exactly how these streams normally work, however the ones ive seen have an arena camera along with one on the organisers desk to call out competitors and potentially do commentary.

Guessing the other option is to show the screen through the stream.

Oh I see, can I ask what streaming software you using? I've used OBS and multi cam is possible, but I think we can get away with 1 cam on the arena.

AWS streams normally use a single camera, you don't have huge deadtime between fights to fill like most events.
