Just thinking out loud here but is there any reason this couldn't be the last AWS of the year? Don't think anyone has volunteered and its around the right sort of date.
I know Antweight Open is its own event and usually a bit more causal, but it might help a few people if it is converted for one time only. I could help you run it Dan if you fancied?

It's not a huge venue; I'm not sure if it'd fit everyone..

Yes, it is rather small and I sincerely doubt that all of the teams would be able to fit their robots etc on those tables very easily as it was a bit of a squeeze at the last event and there were far less people than at an AWS. In addition, I personally feel that it's best to keep the Antweight Open it's own event; a large separate AWS like last year would be much better.

sorry Dave. the venue size would make things a bit cramped. i think a lot of people like a nice casual event to finish the year off anyway. i will host the AWS one day though. it's kind of a life goal :)

EDIT: actually, mum says provided everyone apreciates that it's a smaller venue we can do it as theres another room that we can use as additional pits space. we would need someone to run antlog for us though as it''s gone wrong at both our previous events.
