sweet though if some of us were travling a long way cough scotland cough is there a travel lodge or something nearby that we could bribe our way into

There usually is - I'm in a similar position (six smegging hours via London for some reason!) so when everything's confirmed I might be booking into one the night before if I can't make other arrangements. If it comes to that we can all try and get the same one and find a local Pizza Hut or something for a pre-AWS discussion of life and robots :)

imts only a 7 hour ish drive for me but i think aiming to get into the same place before is a good idea pizza hut battles anyone ;)
