Thanks! It was the only good one for me (which isn't saying much) and was built the night before which is why I couldn't drive it. After its fight against NomNomNom, there isn't really enough of that body shell to salvage (thanks for avoiding my electronics though Andy, very kind!) so you should see a new one at Reading, hopefully with more LEDs and displays!

I don't even know what was going on in Carbon vs Anticide!

Though Kwijiboom vs HSOD was funny. HSOD snapped straight in half. :P

Was there any video of the football?

That arena did make it very challenging to drive well; my driving at that event was pretty poor largely because I'm not used to driving on such a slippery surface... but also because I'm out of practice  . Hoping things'll improve by the time I get to the AWS, though some of my recent practice fights say otherwise...

Man of the match appeared to be Mr Waller! He pulled off some famous victories with good driving. Whatever you took Pete, do it again before Reading!

Oh really? Well, I know the Antivation Cluster would like to get their own back on Crash! And the fight with Doktor Power will be a little harder next time as the new one will actually run upside down, unlike the last one (that was embarrassing; I spent around 3 hours completely designing, building and stuffing the electronics inside just to find it didn't run upside down) AND I'll practise my driving too (it was my first time ever in battle driving with mixing and a new transmitter; I'll blame my stupid losses on that then!). Bring it on!

But, I've got to say, the newcomers (Crash and ExuberANT) impressed me so much with their driving skill; I really don't know how those robots were new but were driven so well! And, yes, Pete's driving was awesome too(although I've never really seen a time when it hasn't been really).

And as for the slippery surface, yes, it was troublesome. However, I did like the way that DP3 went sliding around and slamming into walls like a mini Storm II! That was fun at least but I did have a lot of wheel-spin and had to clean my tyres after every fight to get that paint off of them. I think even the robots with those fancy silicone tyres had trouble so my rubber-glove tyres really stood no chance at all.

I did have two or three hours practice a couple of days before the event maybe that helped.
