Football to follow shortly, although I didn't get all of it due to the card being full. Great viewing angle though.
The arena was freshly painted the day before with the pit section being repainted at 8am that morning, as it saw action it got smoother. I will mix some sand in the paint for the next one.

Tbh, most arena surfaces I've fought on are just bare MDF; nice paint jobs and fighting robots rarely get along

I think the main problem was with Ant2D2 v Crash was when you flipped it so early on.
Team Crash- Robots:
Crash (Antweight)
RDR (Antweight)
The Not So Grim Reaper (Fleaweight, retired during construction)
Crash XL (Beetleweight, construction phase)

Nope, all still working thanks! Weirdly it was working better after the event than it did before as the micro controller was prone to crashing and freezing up; maybe I should have gone with an off the shelf one rather than spending hours cobbling mine together!Hogi wrote:cut up does apologize for destroying doctor power in the first round of the annihilator. i hope i didn't do those awesome lights any harm.
And as for the arena, I love driving on hardboard (my test arena surface) but MDF is fine for me also. However, as for paint, it can prove to be a problem although I found no problems with Scott and Andy's arena so it could simply be the type of paint. Strange...

It'll look amazing for the first fight or two.. They don't generally last long though
