Brighton Mini Maker Faire - 7/9/2013

Post by BeligerAnt »

This year's Maker Faire is happening on Saturday 7th September 2013. Any volunteers before I commit as I can't do it on my own!

I should be around then, hopefully should be able to bring Antimatter and (a vastly improved) Red Dwarf if they are needed.

I will have just moved so I don't think I'll be able to help out this time :(

Well, we've been accepted. :)
Hope several of you can make it with many robots to show off.

Sadly this year the Mini Maker Faire will be a ticketed event. Tickets are £5 for adults, children free.

Last year the official limit on exhibitors was 2 per stand, but with free entry it didn't really matter. I will see what I can do to negotiate more exhibitor passes, as we can't run the stand with only 2 people, and only 2 peoples' robots.

More info as I get it...

Hey guys

Due to this being on the same day as the Robots Live Euro champs, I may have to give it a miss. However, due to it being strictly heavy only, I can loan my ants to one of you to use (currently 6 proper ants).

With just over 3 weeks to go, I'm feeling a bit short of people and robots!
There's no problem about the number of people on the stand, but we could do with plenty of robots for static display and for visitors to have a go with.

Jordan, Jim, Oliver - hope you can still make it, please confirm!
