I was hoping to hire a van to bring mine and Scotts arena down to the AWS however after moving house its just not going to be possible. Is someone else bringing one?

Hold that thought, we're trying to get something sorted out.

Well fingers crossed it won't come to that Dave! Pete has said he's bringing his arena along, so we definitely will have one. But I think the general consensus is that two areans are better than one, and we've been spoilt a bit with the big arenas at the last 2 AWS, so it would be nice to have one at this event if possible.

What about Dave Weston's one? We've never had an AWS in that one. Is it spinner proof enough? Obviously we'd all prefer the big one though!

Yeah, I spoke with Dave about this, but as there's no drop off, it doesn't conform with AWS rules. Very nice arena though, despite the pit seeming to have a robot magnet in it!

It would be worth getting Dave to bring his anyway if I had a breakdown (the car not me) or somthing it would be worth having a standby and may be people would vote to try it out anyway as the larger ones with the extra walls don't exactly meet the AWS rules.

If no one objects to using it in the event we lose Andy and Scott's, then why not? Would only be an "in case of emergency" type deal.

Yeah, but as we have Pete's arena, which complies with the rules, then that's what we'll use if we can't get Scott and Andy's arena. The turnout isn't as high as its been in the past, and we have the venue until late, so we should be able to run all 3 competitions in one arena if we really had to.

We could always use it for an annihilator. Drop off's not that important for a spinner annihilator. In fact, I'd very much prefer it, wouldn't I Mr Weston?

Yeah, definitely, if you don't mind packing it up and bringing it that would be great.
