I thought that when I looked at the list considering the amount of people that post on here daily I thought most would have signed up, by the way fellow does it cost anything for entry? e.g. to cover the cost of the hall hire? or are the scouts letting you use it free of charge as a local communal event style thing?

hey,
it costs nothing to enter but we do have a pot/bowl there if people want to chip in towards the cost of the hall, however it is VERY optional and we wouldnt be expecting you guys to do anything but fight, repair and have a good time

I have been searching for Surrey close on google maps but I can not seem to find it :/ how close is it to the nearest station which I believe would be Richmond?
I do not think I am going to drive due to being caught up in Londons congestion zones and the distance to travel would be cheaper via train.

I'm planning on using the train - from the North I get to King's Cross, take a cab/the Tube to Vauxhall and then a fairly regular train runs from there to Richmond station - it's not much of a walk from there. Kew Gardens might be closer but I know the walk from Richmond better, so that's what I use

Awesome I just checked the train planner, im literally fenchurch to towerhill to district - richmond easy as pie done that many of times before, what time do you plan on arriving there? I would be really greatful if someone could show my brother and I the way as I am unsure whether my sat nav will get me there.

I'm not sure when I'll be there I'm afraid but if you give Jack and co. a call in advance they can provide good directions from the station. (alternatively look for a badly dressed long haired youth carrying a large case and looking distinctly out of place, that might be me)
