AWS31 Eindhoven 10th April 2010 - event rescheduled

Post by Simon Windisch »

I'm taking the liberty of starting a new thread for AWS 31, and copying in some info from another thread.

Location:
Gameforce
Visserstraat 18A, Eindhoven, Netherlands
Walking distance from the train station Eindhoven Central
You're not allowed to consume any home brought drinks or food at the venue. You can buy there something to drink or eat (part of the reason why we can use the location for free).

And just for the record, Nathan and I are going, probably by car and ferry, and travelling with Socrates and Andre.

It's a great venue (a game shop) friendly, accomodating and just cool, also the smallest men's toilet you'll ever see. There are some pictures at http://www.gfmailorder.nl/shop/GameForce_brochure.pdf

Edit: And the hotel we stayed at last time was marvellous, they let us stay in late on the Sunday. It's the Novotel Eindhoven. It's 5 miles away at ?55.86 for one night for two with a no-cancellation deal. The nearest hotel is 1 mile away, the Eden Crown Hotel Eindhoven and costs ?65.00

Can't go this time  as it's James' GCSE year. Don't have the time for a week-long holiday and can't afford a weekend.

Please don't vote anonymously! Otherwise we don't have any idea about who can/can't go and who is keeping quiet. Please add a comment as well as your vote.

I shall be going.
Last time we flew in on the Saturday morning stayed overnight and flew back on the Sunday.
As Simon said the Novotel was very good and within walking distance of the airport even with robots.

I'm going to have to miss it because my mother-in-law has her 60th birthday about that time and we're all going away....can't do both sadly.

I *might* be going but between worried parents and my AS level revision it's only an outside chance I'm afraid :(
