I have literally just finished building, hehe...the superglue is drying and hopefully the new Jigsaw should perform well on the day as I finally have full control over one of my robots :P

Really looking forward to this, especially meeting all the people I haven't yet met :) (I apologise in advance for my hair and my Springboks jersey)

Best of luck to all...

Today will be the debut of Kitty, the robot that I've built from the virtual kit http://antweightrobots.com/buildone.htm

I'm planning on making a how to build video, and make the plans available as a PDF, so that people can print it out, glue it to some polycarbonate and cut and drill it to the correct shape.

Thanks to all you great Orrs, another super event.

Videos are being uploaded to http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... 5EBC0F0DDD

If you see any errors in the robot names then please leave a comment and I'll correct it. I have 84 videos to it'll take a while...

Was a good event. Strange to not see the old hands in the last 8, although Andy did a great job.

Will update my site tomorrow.

Yes another great event thanks to the Orr Family for putting it on and the Aylward family for helping run it.
I think the main reason for none of the old hands as you put it Oliver being in the last 8 was because our driving was just not up to standard. Must get some practice if we want to keep up the the younger generation.

I quite agree Pete, they're just too quick for us lot :)

Great event, thank you to the Orrs and Aylward's for running it (Thanks for the sausages :))

Bit disapointed for me to have 3 out of my 4 go out in their first 2 matches, but I'll be back with better robots, stronger armour, and a spinning blade that does resemble a flying saucer half the time :)
