Cardiff Carnage: Saturday 11th April 2009

Post by Team Terror »

Hi,
There's a Roaming Robots event in Cardiff on 11th April. I was wondering if there is anyone taking their antweights, as I will be. So far there are 6 signed up(not including my 3). I am unsure as to whether I need to join the FRA to compete in a Roaming Robots event with antweights? Could someone let me know either way please :)
Thanks
Jack Evans

We won't be there Jack.

Sometimes they let you compete without FRA membership, they used to do a reduced price for antweights, in fact if you read the small print the ?10 is optional, apparently.

Best to have a word with RR themselves, via the email link on their website IMHO.

Goo luck - Simon

We're going with Cabrakan. I believe Dave Weston will be taking and running the ants section as usual. Don't think you'll have to join the FRA just for that, but if anyone asks you you can say you're part of our team.

My personal team is, but our FRA number is for the joint team of me, Dave Weston and Marco. Sign your ants up on the Roaming Robots site under Team Terror and then just turn up. I'm sure there wont be any problems, but if there are I'll sign your ants in on our number. Last time I took an ant I didn't have to sign it in at all, so, should be fine.
