AWS27 Reading Sat 8th November 2008

Post by petec »

Just thoughts I'd open the thread for discussions and submissions. I can't actually remember what we agreed about all the different options, so offers here please!

(edited by Leo to change topic, hope you don't mind Pete)

As discussed, we should be able to book the same venue that Reading Robot Club uses for Sat 8th November. Oliver to host.

Pete, when this comes off, would it be possible to edit the title of this topic to say "AWS27 Reading Sat 8th November 2008" to make it easier for people viewing the forum to work out what's going on?

The venue is now officially booked. Oliver or Pete, could you set up the registration for it please?

Thanks for booking it Simon.

I don't have access to the regitration system so PeteC or Gary will have to do that.

I'll be bringing my arena, will be good to have another one available if possible to help speed up the events. Perhaps we could have an open topped arena just for non-spinners. I could make something similar to my basic arena with a bigger fighting area if enough people think it's a good idea.

Will also be a flea market as well.

Simon, is the Uni making a new Social Club? Sure I saw something in the paper about it.

Saw the link but should have registered the event but missed it.

Have created an event on the event register page. Think it is the right one. Let me know about the registration form.

Oliver

PS: try not to park in Reading to stay under the radar.
