Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019
Update. This event is now confirmed and will take place on 5th October 2019.
Could people please let me know weather this should be an AWS event or an antweight open event?

I'd say AWS.

Hi again everyone. It looks like we'll have to push this back to the 12th October 2019 as my mum and dad have a music festival on the 5th. Is this ok?

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019
no problem for me...
which arena is being used? i liked the aws arena so if the difference is the arena then i'm cool with it being an aws... if its not a difference in arenas, would you mind explaining the differences between the 2 events... i have only attended aws and antfreeze so the open is new ground for me...

As I already said over on Facebook, it shouldn't be an issue. Just depends if my stepdad will be bothered about having to drive me to two events on two weekends in a row.

Hi. The antweight open was an event I used to run. It was similar to the AWS but it had more games like antweight football and raceway afterwards. I think this one will likely be an AWS though.Kyro wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:16 am no problem for me...

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019
I can't commit to anything after September sadly, as I have no idea what my timetable will look like or even where I'll be based!
That said, if I can make it? I'm in.

A grabber? I CHALLENGE IT WITH JIGGY!
Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019
As all of the AWS events have been allocated this year, this event will be antweight open. It will consist of a main ant tournament, fleaweights, nanoweights and whatever else everyone wants to do.
Has anything yet been sorted with regards to floating robots as we could run a competition for them as well if there is still interest.
Other things we could run are: raceway, football, annihilators and tag team depending on what people want to do and of course time restraints but we should be able to fit a few games in.

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019
im up for a straight 2v2 tournament... seen a lot on youtube (the ARC in Australia) and they look like good fun... football also looks like good fun (rocket league fan) and the usual antweight tourney... i also have a flea built so a fleaweight tourney will be a good test for it...
but to be honest, im happy with anything really...
