AWS 63 - Hinckley, Leicestershire - April 2nd 2022

Post by razerdave »

Hi all!

Finally able to confirm - Antweight Workd Series 63, hosted by Team Hell and Team 13!

Date: 2nd April 2022

Venue: Hope Community Church,
11 Deveron Way,
Hinckley
Leicestershire
LE10 0XD

(Yes, same venue as Ant Freeze)

Arena: The old Andy/Scott arena (as seen at AWS 62)

COVID precautions:
Whilst the government rules no longer require masks, isolation et all, I would STRONGLY recommend getting a LFT the day before the event and register it on the NHS website for presentation when arriving at the venue. If you are unable to get a hold of one, I will bring a bunch to the venue and you can test yourselves before entering.
Masks will be optional but recommended (the venue doesn’t do much for social distancing)

Schedule:
Tech checks: Open as soon as the venue is (8:00), closed at 10
Lunch: 1:00-1:20. Tea making stuff and various nibbles will be provided as well
Event end: 6-7pm

Sign ups: http://antlog.garya.org.uk/entrant/index?eventId=30

Depending on sign up numbers, people with 4 entries may be required to drop 1 roller from the team.

A donation box will be open, any amount will be greatly appreciated and goes towards the cost of the venue :)

If you would rather donate to me directly, my email is razerdave@hotmail.com

A point to note; because we have eliminated all unofficial/unwritten rules, the weight limit will be strictly enforced; no 2% tolerance (153g) as has been previous.

See you all there!

Doh! That's the day we fly off on holiday :(

Ah well, in that case we will definitely come to Antfreeze this weekend.

Well, it's entirely conceivable that someone may have left it too late to renew his son's passport in time for Easter hols...
On the plus side, this means we get to spend this weekend in the balmy warmth of Hinckley, rather than dreary old Sicily .

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. I think an Undertaker vs RBMK rematch may be on the cards...
