Sadly can't make this, would be a hotel job and it's my bro's birthday the week before and we're away for a bit to old Amsterdam. Sucks because Ant freeze was loads of fun, but I'll keep an eye out for the next.

Should hopefully have another build project done by whenever that is too.

I'll look forward to the video of this one.

We'll be there.
Featherweight under construction.

Antweight to build list: 4Wd lifter, new clusterbot, secret project, walker of some description.

Team Hectic.

Would I be allowed to come just to spectate and learn about the robots? I am trying to make one myself but have very little knowledge.

Absolutely, getting people into the sport is as important as doing it yourself as far as I'm concerned!

I'll be there, second ever event for me! Hopefully I'll be bringing some PLA on wheels for you all to smash up. :D

Is there an entry fee for spectating, also I'm hoping to be able to learn about the robots there so if you see an early teen walking around, asking basic questions like: how do you attach a weapon to the motor, that would be me.

Nope, no fees. Seeing the robots in person is the best way to learn.

Does the draw take place on the day or will the first round be known before tomorrow?

This is my first event so not sure how it all works!

The draw is done on the day once they know how many robots have turned up and got through scrutineering.
That is usually a check of weight, cube fit and failsafe on spinners.

Weather forecasts not looking too good especially for journey home from the event so we really need to get the fights finished as early as possible.
I should hopfully be able to get to the event with my arena but if anyone more local has one it might be worth taking it just in case.
