Hannibalito on the left, rebuilt frame and new armour so it looks a lot different from the one I had with me in Reading and Swindon. Hannibalito can lift 400 kg on the ram, on the end of the flipperarm there is about 100 kg of force left (still enough to launch a feather). The ram is powered by a 12 oz co2 paintball bottle. The drive is 2 Graupner speed 900 motors at 12V, with a 4:1 gear reduction to 65mm wheels.

Hannibalito 2 on the right, more power in the flipper, but less armour than its brother, with 5 mm HDPE instead of the 10 mm on Hannibalito. The ram has about 1600 kg of force, and at the end of the arm there is about 250 kg left. This is because we sacrifice force for speed. With opponents of 12 kg, we dont need a ton of force on the tip, speed of the arm is more important. The ram is also powered by a 12 oz co2 paintball bottle, so less flips as number 1. Drive is 2 Viper XXL motors at 12V, with a 4:1 gear reduction to 100 mm wheels.

Any similarities to a certain antweight are NOT a coincidence. :)

Hannibalito 2 came second in the XFM European Championships last weekend. I lost to Skink, a feather flipper from Team windbags. I trew myself out of the arena. DOH! :)

Right now it weighs 10.8kg. Rick is going to do the electronics, then a fresh paint job, and it will be finished for Rijswijk.

Seems we forgot to post the finished version of Kashei then.

Oh well, after a few fights, we ran in some snags. Nothing to serious, but still, had to be adressed.
Some gear-issues and a virtualy unbreakable 10mm polycarb top plate that cracked along every corner.

In combination with a new axe the result became this

Kashei is looking good - deceptively simple :D

Hannibalito I V is intriguing - looking forward to seeing it built out
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left

After finishing Hannibalito 4 it went to the scales. And that was a nasty surprice. 13.6kg, with almost empty bottle and no electronics.

So a rebuild happened , now with ali frame and some subtile changes the first test looked ok.
