Hannibalito on the left, rebuilt frame and new armour so it looks a lot different from the one I had with me in Reading and Swindon. Hannibalito can lift 400 kg on the ram, on the end of the flipperarm there is about 100 kg of force left (still enough to launch a feather). The ram is powered by a 12 oz co2 paintball bottle. The drive is 2 Graupner speed 900 motors at 12V, with a 4:1 gear reduction to 65mm wheels.

Hannibalito 2 on the right, more power in the flipper, but less armour than its brother, with 5 mm HDPE instead of the 10 mm on Hannibalito. The ram has about 1600 kg of force, and at the end of the arm there is about 250 kg left. This is because we sacrifice force for speed. With opponents of 12 kg, we dont need a ton of force on the tip, speed of the arm is more important. The ram is also powered by a 12 oz co2 paintball bottle, so less flips as number 1. Drive is 2 Viper XXL motors at 12V, with a 4:1 gear reduction to 100 mm wheels.
Best regards,

Leo van Miert.

Any similarities to a certain antweight are NOT a coincidence. :)

Hannibalito 2 came second in the XFM European Championships last weekend. I lost to Skink, a feather flipper from Team windbags. I trew myself out of the arena. DOH! :)
