Just wondering if anyone knew if this part was available from a uk or European site.

Well, as I have already found, ordering from the US is incredibly expensive without using tracking and with goods worth more than $100 I would prefer to have this as if it got lost then I'm not going to get my money back. With tracking/insurance it costs almost as much to send the thing as the thing actually costs and that's quite a lot. You see my problem...

shouln't be spending more than like £50 on one

Quite. The Pololu one is 60ish pounds which I think is fine and a mounting bracket is available which makes things much simpler.

i was meaning you can pick up quite decent ones off the old ebay cheaply

the polulu one does have limit switches though, quite alot of the actuators i've seen on ebay don't unfortunately
