The motors would work, but there's far better ones out there (drill motors, Speed 900s, Gold motors, etc.)

More worrying is the fact they come from Xbotz, I've heard several peoples' reccommendations with quite worrying details that would make me advise you to not touch Xbotz with the proverbial bargepole, get your motors from somewhere else instead.

http://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/forum/v ... f=3&t=2565 should tell you most of what you need to know on that front...

And the 'blue' wheels are fine, most featherweights use them actually :)

as joey said, xbots have been known to be a bit dodgy, id steer well clear of them if i we'r you.

however, i looked into those motors when i was first starting out in featherwights, they would work, but tbh speed 900's, golds and even drills would be better and probably more reliable.

I have:
-No tools more complicated than budget jigsaw
-PVC and floorboard for armour
-A shed
-No experience of featherweights either
I'm less of a worthy rival than you think.
BTW you said no idea twice :D
