New feather

Post by alasdair »

I am thinking of making a featherweight, my first, and the one thing that i cant figure out is pnematics. I want to make a pneumatic lifter but i have:
-no clue how they work
-how to build the system
-and where to get the parts
Help plz!

Likely to be doing my usual thing of going to College and working as it's a Friday!

Whyever does one ask Simon?

BTW I'm not completely new to the whole robot combat sport. I may only be 17, never built one, but watched RW and BattleBots plus TechnoGames from the very first to the very last televised episodes respectively!! Videotaped most. Collected the figures. Was at the filming of the 6th wars and always wanted to get involved!! Now I guess I'm old enough to try... haha

I was at the Reading Robots Live event on Sunday morning if anyone else in this thread was too?

Bit of a sneaky pre-annoucement, as I haven't OKed this with Socrates or Peter, but I'm hoping to book the usual venue for a Reading Robot Club on that date (actually, I meant Sat 16th Jan).
