Sounds good,thanks.
It looks like it to me. I find it really nice to work with.
I am off to the event at Portsmouth on Sunday! I see a few of you are going. Should I bring Bruce along??

Please do :)

I'll be at portsmouth, I will likely have my arena near the barrier, but if you have your robot you are welcome to come and fight :)

I'm easily recognised; tall, dark jeans and black t-shirts (usually a HIM or Slipknot logo on it) and leather fingerless gloves.

Since its 2.4GHz and not going to interfere with anything, you'll be fine, though best show it and the flea to the person letting you and and explain what the deal is.

Hi guys.
I am after a bit of advice on tx setup...
Bruce used to work on an old 2.4 compatible basic heli TX,with a mechanical mixer. I recently swapped to using my dx6i,and removed the mechanical mixer. So far,so good!!
Now I have an antweight up and running,I thought it would be fun to set Bruce up to work on the old TX,so that I could run them both together, but when I tried,it all worked ok,other than the forweward/backwards stick movement was reversed. After trying all different combinations, and getting nowhere,I decided to set Bruce back up on the dx6i,without the mechanical mixer... The foreward/backwards is still reversed, even after resetting the tx and setting up the mixes again...
MIX1
ELEV + AILE ACT
RATE L -100% R -100%
SW ON TRIM ACT

MIX2
AILE + ELEV ACT
RATE D +100% U +100%
SW ON TRIM ACT

Anyone got any ideas??
Cheers James.

I've had that issue a few times - in each case swapping the servo leads for the speed controller around so they plug into the 'wrong' channel has actually worked (combined with a bit of servo reversing)

I will have another play. :)
Silly thing is,the old TX doesnt have a facility for servo reversing, and I am sure it used to work!!
