Have a look at SH Muffet, http://www.muffett.co.uk

I can't see them on the site but the catalogue has plastic timing belts and pulleys.

I'd be tempted to look at the Sozbots site as they have plastic chains and cogs and the postage isn't too bad (and you can get carbon fibre/titanium/polycarb at the same time).

Thanks for that Oliver, unfortunatly I E-mailed them and they don't do them anymore, so I can only assume you're catalog is out of date, so I'm still up for suggestions.

As a reminder, I'm looking for plastic ant-sized timing (toothed) pulleys and belts.

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could point me to a UK website where I can get some m1.7 screws, as all my searches so far have only found american sites, and I don't fancy having to pay ?15 for shipping so they'll be here before RRC.

Unfortunately this company states that it will not deal with members of the public. Sadly, this is all too common.

Also I notice that Farnell have increased their minimum order to ?20 for a credit card order.

If I havn't found any by monday (going around various model shops and engineering stores with my dad this weekend) then I'll have to order them from Solarbotics, which means paying ?15ish to get them delivered before reading. if anyone else wants anything from Solarbotics, can we combine our orders, as paying ?15 delivery for a couple of pounds worth of screws seems a terrible waste. As normal, it's my own fault for leaving things too late, will I ever learn

Gary why not just set up an account with farnell. You Have a company "Team Beligerant". I know a lot of robot teams with accounts in the name of the robot team.
