Just about finished th geared Nano just waiting for some star clips to hold the wheels on.
Can't show it in action without them as the wheels fall off every few seconds so I don't know how it drives.
It is fairly quick and can flip back up the right way just by using the drive so I may have problems.

That's one impressively tiny robot! Can't wait for my nano to attempt to slowly trundle to victory against something that is actually fast. :P

Being my usual patient self when the postman failed to deliver the star clips I went to plain washers and epoxy.
Here it is finally in action:

You could get 7 in the weight with a bit of work, dunno if you'd get them all in the cube (though in theory, with size limits, you can get 8 in).

I would love to see another 6-way cluster, you'd have to call them collectively 'Nanites' or, perhaps more fitting, Termites :)

No problem fitting the four inch cube.

Or even the three inch cube.

But it is more fun when each driver has is own robot so unlikely to enter a group of my own.
Have improved the handling of the new Nano by adding 3.5 gms of brass infront of the battery and added the star clips.

Now doesn't now flip on quick aceleration needs fast foward to fast back to flip over.

Awesome little bit of engineering there Pete :)

I need to get to work; I've 'only' got 4 Nanos atm. You're beating me in both quantity and quality :P

Although it's a bit of a pig to organise, I think Lemmings will probably make a return at the next AWS.. just for sheer comic value if nothing else :P

if all the botlets were walkers you would be able to fit about nine in the weight limit. that I would like to see!

I need to redesign my spinner ONE BILLION U.S. STYLE.
After all the initial problems with the receiver resetting then when I fixed that the a wire came off the brushless controller at the last AWS to Antfreeze where the blade holder shattered it has never really got anywhere.
Can't quite decide what it should be based on or look like.
