Where can I get parts/materials from?

There are a number of good websites that you can get parts or materials suitable for Antweight use from. The most commonly used/best shops are listed below:

- http://robotwars101.org/ants/shop/ - The shop on this site.

- http://www.robotmarketplace.com - For US Ants, but sells good speed controllers suitable for Antweight use (be warned, US rules differ from the UK rules!)

- http://www.precisionmicrodrives.com - Good for small motors suitable for Ants.

- http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/ - Good for R/C stuff.

- http://www.maplin.co.uk - Small components etc. Batteries.

- http://www.technobots.co.uk - General store, for materials mainly.

- http://www.overlander.co.uk - Batteries etc.

- http://www.pandanmodelboats.co.uk/ - A model boat shop, but they stock Futaba and Hitec receivers and crystals suitable for use in antweight robots

- http://www.huntersystems.co.uk/ - Hunter Systems specialise in model cars and boats, but also sell Hitec transmitters and receivers at a good price.

- http://www.himodel.com/ - A Chinese supplier of Lithium polymer batteries, Blue Arrow micro receivers and Tower Pro servos.

- http://www.actionkit.co.uk/ - Another supplier of Hitec receivers for when SMC claim there are none available in the whole world!
