Battle ready ... BRAINS!

Post by thebeardedone »

Ok, I can say that have finished the electronics on my mini sumo. All that is needed now is the armour fixed in place and she is good to go.

Plane tickets are being booked next week, so it is all set for Vienna. Let's hope that the new girl does me proud 8)

Pictures to be added tomorrow.

Sam

I'll look forward to seeing those and hearing how you've done in Vienna.

Just a quick update:

Why is it you test, test and test again until all seems well. Leave it to have a short break, go back and there is another fault?

I think there should be a new truth of robotics:
"Thou shall work, until required to work"
(although I have a funny feeling this may already be a truth)

Appears it was no more than a faulty connection and weight distribution error, so all is calm again.

Photos will definitely be up tonight.

Sam

Got some (poor quality) images to show y'all

The side panels have not gone on yet as I am having to order some more polycarbonate, made a cutting error. However, it is all working but the profile is a little higher than I would have liked. I may take some off but it does seem rather well balanced considering it's size.

No videos yet but will be soon.

Just a standard iso front view.

Back iso view.

Front view of Brains. Odd screws as not all are in yet.

Just a top shot showing the power switch and reset button for five second delay.

That's all there is to show at the moment. There will be some more pictures and a video when the side panels are on.

Sam
