Video Games Live

Post by EpicentrE »

Yahhar me hearties! Right, to the point;

I have a spare ticket for Video Games Live on the 25th november (this Saturday) at the Hammersmith Apollo, 6pm - 12pm (I think, office is closed at the moment). It's basically a celebration of Video Games, and in particular, Video Game Music, accompanied by a full orchestra, a stage show, giant screen, interactive segments, etc. If you are interested let me know and we'll see about transport etc.

No, I'm not pointlessly bumping an old topic! This was my topic anyway :P

I'll be going to Video Games Live again this year, its on the 22nd October (which I believe is the day after the London expo?), although tickets arn't on sale and venue isn't confirmed yet. Just thought I'd make you all aware since if your a gamer, this is totally awesome brillianceness :P

Anyway, it would be worth going just to see me in cosplay (oh yes!) dressed up as Sora, from the game Kingdom Hearts (from KH2 to be precise). For those of you who are unfamiliar, here's some pics:

Will make sure to get plenty of pics so you can all have a good laugh at me :D

And in response to Dan: The best bit last year, for me, was the orchestral version of One Winged Angel (from Final Fantasy VII), which literally brough tears to my eyes, it was beautiful. Hearing One Winged Angel performed live was on my list of 'things I need to do before I die', so that was just amazing. The MGS section was cool too though, they had a guy dressed up a terrorist from the game on stage, and some guy in a box pretending to be snake; When the terrorist guy spotted the box, he pulled a string and a big exclamation mark appeared above his head, like in the game, which was funny.
