Sounds like it will be made in the USA, but if you have Sky/cable you might be able to see it (eventually...)

I saw this a while back, but rumours were that it was going to be going for a "more professional" approach, so special effects artists and professional engineers building visually brilliant robots rather than ground-level, build-in-the-shed types. Robot combat is fairly dull in America (spinner hits spinner, one wins, all robots look the same) so they were going to avoid it by "commissioning" the robots instead. Fun to watch maybe, but not exactly open to us from the sounds of it.
