visual basic program for my 3d printer

ok , i have built the printer , it prints by squirting water onto a plaster and dextrin mix , this hardens in a few seconds and a new layer of powder is spread and the cycle repeats .

i have only printed single layers so far and i need a program that will import about 500 jpg images , add them to the print que (and print them in order i.e 1.jpg , 2.jpg )and put a 4 second delay between printing each one.

It is kind of asking a lot , but i have never really used visual basic , and i cant find any tutorials for printing in visual basic .

Could any body who is more experienced than me with visual basic help me :) .
