Rx and Tx Crystal
Hello,
It's me again, asking for more questions. I have to have to have a transmitter and a receiver crystal plugged into a transmitter and a receiver. They also must be the same channel (of course). The receiver crystal goes right into the to holes in the receiver and the transmitter crystal goes right into the transmitter's two holes.
Can't the robot drive without a receiver or a transmitter crystal?
In this guide at:
http://www.dimensionengineering.com/app ... _robot.htm
They never said anything about a receiver crystal or a transmitter crystal.

Hi there,
No, they don't mention anything about it, but if you follow the link to receivers from that page, you will see that the spec of the receiver in the photo of the page you mentioned says
Simon
BTW, Spektrum transmitters and receivers don't need crystals.

Blimey - I thought it was supposed to be a simple antweight!!
BTW, if I get bored over the ModelWorld weekend I may be persuaded to do my 'Build an ant in 10 mintues' feature....no promises though!
