5V bec?

Post by LimaHotel »

Hi guys, just curious as to which becs people use? Is there anything to look out for? Looking for a 5v bec to run a lemon off 2s power. Cheers

Don't most speed controllers have one built-in?

I know the Dasmikro has one, also some brushless esc.

Here is the one I use in all my controllers.
It has a low drop out voltage of 0.4 V and can deliver 1.5 A.

Aren't most LemonRX rated for 2S?

I think you are correct it is only necessary if you are running 3S.

This is the one I was using when I was using modded servo boards as escs. I doubt you'd need to regulate 2S for a lemon rx though. I hope this helps. ☺

I dunno why I thought lemons weren't happy with 2s, but I can confirm they're happy up to 10.2V!
Anyway, thanks for the info guys. I do wanna start paying with my own boards one day. Not any day soon, but one day!
