Because Strickly Come Dancing isn't going to get cancelled, right?

I thought RW was very popular in ratings and was in a good slot.

Maybe it was expensive to make?

PLUS after three series of the reboot, they almost got it right, it was actually fun and not cringe-inducing to watch. Except for the fog of war effect which everyone hates :)

I could see it returning on another channel.

Channel 4 or 5 could pull it off. even with sponsorship on the arena floor for shops and such. I wouldn't mind that.

Removal of house robots would reduce costs. Reduce the size of the arena. Many ways to make it more cost effective.

Next they will axe top gear....

Realistically, I do wonder just how interesting series 11 might've been. Would there have been new and exciting robots, or would it be mostly the same old bunch? oh, apollo vs. carbide again! yaay?

They could probably do with switching to a different weight class. Get school teams to compete or something.

Well they did say they were going to do a Featherweight event at one point (for series 9 I think) but they then shelved that indefinitely.

It's made it's way on to the news. One of the reasons they gave was. The only time slots that will be available are going to be too late for children...

ive heard its because the last series did worse than the time slot average, but it was slightly later than the series before, so less children still up. and it was up against blue planet so it really didn't have a fair chance.

Yea it was late.

I noticed that they were showing previous series past few weeks at random times. 7am - 2pm.

Maybe they were testing wether kids were watching it or not.
