This would seem to allow for the removal of power by simply disconnecting the battery from the rest of the electronics (e.g. pulling apart the JST discharge plug from the ESC), however, every example I find seems to use a small slider switch instead. Have I misinterpreted the rules, or is it simply for convenience?2c) Robots must have an externally accessible way of being shut down (e.g. a power switch, removable link or battery plug).
tl;dr: Are switches mandatory, or can you just disconnect the battery?
