I think I`ve read somewhere about a certain way to bind the Orange 7 ch rx but I can`t find it now.
I can get it to bind easily enough but it won`t failsafe.
This is the order I`m doing it in but I have tried various others with no luck.
Plug in bind link
Power up rx - rx led flashes fast
Switch on TX (dx6i) in binding mode - rx led flashes slowly then goes solid
Let go of tx bind switch
Remove power from TX and RX
Remove bind link
Power up rx
Power up tx in normal mode
Controls work fine
Full throttle to motors and switch off tx,
RX led goes off but motors keep running!
Any help please?

Re: Orange RX failsafe
Sounds alright to me John. That's how I always did it. Not a clue on the failsafe.

Re: Orange RX failsafe
is the tx trimmed so the motors were all off when it was bound? Usually if the RX doesn't switch off it's outputs with the transmitter, it will failsafe to where the sticks were when it was bound. If the tx wasn't trimmed at the start, then the motors won't necessarily turn off with the transmitter..

Re: Orange RX failsafe
Make sure everything is in failsafe position when it binds. If that's not working remove the bind plug BEFORE you turn the transmitter on in bind mode.

Re: Orange RX failsafe
Alex beat me to it
Bind it normally first, set trims to desired dead point, then bind again, but this time, power up the rx with the bind plug in, then pull it out, and power up the TX in bind mode. It's a software nack than means it accepts the next commands as failsafe points (Hence binding it normally first to find out where the trims ned to be for zero movement).

Re: Orange RX failsafe
Thanks everyone, I`ll try it tonight.
