Ok, the robot in question is having fresh receiver issues so can't get a video of it running but will see what it's like with a new one.

in my experience it can't be solved but on some robots it can be minimised using the trims, to a level where the problem is scarcely noticeable. when i used to run thunder strike on an orange TX the programmable options allowed me to tune certain aspects of steer and what not but even then if i nudged the right stick forward just a tiny bit one motor would always become active before the other.
