My robots are ALWAYS made while watching the Simpsons... It's evolved into a weird kind of tradition. But yeah, they are very versatile. I've thrown together some ants in an evening and others can take years to design and build. I started CAD work on my latest clusterbot in November 2012 and it's probably not going to be ready until next year.. that's mainly due to laziness and lack of money though.

And I think everyone has had an antweight held together by gaffer/insulation tape at some point, so don't worry about that.
