Morning gents.
What is the smallest wiring appropriate for use in a 2s lipo robot?
I am fed up of using scraps of wire from servos and battery leads.
Ta very much.
Jimbo.

Re: wiring
I currently use wire from Maplin. I think it is the 7/0.2 wire on their web site but its nice and flexiable and much thinner than what is standard on lipo packs. The only time I have had any issues with wire thickness was using the micro JST battery wire. This got really warm when pulling a couple of amps through it.
Equipment wire 7/0.2 (What I am using atm)
Stranded core, single: 7/0.2mm copper
Sheath: 0.3mm PVC
Overall diameter: 1.2mm
Nom. conductor area: 0.22mm2
Max. working voltage: 1000V rms
Max. current: 1.4A
Colours: Black, blue, green, red, white, yellow.
Supplied in 10 metre (approximate) lengths. Additionally, black and red are available on 100 metre reels.
Another choice, similar to what the lipo wires are
Miniature extra flexible wire:
Stranded core: 30/0.1mm copper
Sheath: 1mm very flexible PVC
Overall diameter: 2.0mm
Nom. conductor area: 0.24mm2
Max. working voltage: 650Vdc, 500Vac
Max. current: 1.5A
Colours available: Black, red

Re: wiring
7/0.2 can be a bit inflexible for use in ants. I think 30/0.1 would be a better bet, it's much more flexible and will easily handle all sensible antweight currents.

Re: wiring
Thanks guys. Got some of both types today.
Just what I needed.
FYI: The 7/02 is half the weight and diameter of the 30/01.
