I'm looking at making a basic H bridge dual motor controller as I need an awkward shaped board in something I'm designing (10x<60mm)
I've found a basic IC that has a suitable current capacity here:

I'm wondering if anybody can point me in the direction of a basic open source schematic I can utilise. I've had a look around but I don't really know when I've found something that might work the board only needs to be capable of dual motor control and maybe mixing if it requires a micro processor anyway.
Thanks,

Re: Basic H bridge dual motor esc
I think you will find it difficult to build a controller only 10mm wide.
That chip you are looking at is 0.3 inch between centres which means at least 0.4 inch wide for the tracks or 10.25mm.
You might be able to get a surface mount device but even the ones I use are 8.4 mm wide.

I have adjusted my design slightly to make room for the 12mm fingertech ESC so I should be able to squeeze it all into a double sided board.
